Cheryl was the BEST dental hygienist I could've had during my visit! Not only did she give me a STELLAR cleaning but... she schooled me in Dental Hygiene 101 with knowledge beyond the surface! Impeccable dentistry. Dr. Chris was extremely careful, informative, and patient during my visit. Zero pain whatsoever... and during the numbing shots he still made effort to make those painless. The process is very quick and efficient. All of the ladies that work there are really nice and are happy to answer any questions you may have. The entire office is very clean, well lit, there’s proper privacy, and total respect for each client that comes in. I was concerned that with COVID-19 being an issue right now there would be great risk getting the procedure done but all of the staff are in full PPE with DDS wearing even more than the assistants/specialists. They’re clearly dedicated to keeping everyone safe and ready to take care of anyone in need during the pandemic. My great aunt has gone here for decades, a friend of mine went recently, and now I’m positive that no matter what side of town I live in this will be my dentist here on out.read more

The doctors are exceptional in their skills and procedures! I came into the office to get teeth extracted, fillings... done and to get a cleaning. This was my first time ever getting teeth pulled and getting fillings so I was nervous but the doctors assured me that there would be no pain with the procedures and true to their word both procedures were pain free. What an amazing place! I must say, the staff members... at the front desk are so nice and professional!
I don't want to exclude the dental and hygienic professionals along with their assistants, they've been marvelous! For a nervous person like me who doesn't like visiting the dentist, it was a calming experience!
Recently I had some concerns and issues (in which another dentist with his assistant was available to see me), took a look to see what was going on and offered assistance!
I was given an appointment to follow up with my dentist in a few days!
I went today and my dentist was so caring in making sure everything was okay! He even consulted with an expert to get his viewpoints concerning my dilemma or shall we say, a second opinion. I appreciated the explanation; suggested diagnosis and treatment!
Oh by the way, did I mentioned the great music that's being played? It's Pandora! Love it!
Well, I can go on and on but need to wrap this up!

I was always scared and afraid of seeing the dentist because I had a bad experiences at other dental places, and my son referred me here because he said that the DeNTisT that took care of his needs was just great and I was scared at first coming here, and the minute I walked in here was just what I needed to feel calm and not be scared of seeing the dentist. The front staff was really nice to me, and my dentist was SuPeR AWeSoMe!! He took care of my needs and I didn't feel any pain or discomfort at all. I went in for a regular cleaning, only to be told I needed a deep cleaning. The first half was done by a male dental professional, and I returned the next day for the second half which was done by a wonderful young lady by the name of Maria. Maria's level of professionalism left a lot to be desired. She was patient and very informative about everything she was doing while consistently asking am I doing ok. She is excellent at her job!

I tend to be a nervous dental patient. The staff was understanding and non judgemental. I have had a crown, which got yanked out when I stupidly forgot and chewed gum, and they got me right in to replace it that day. When Maria cleaned my teeth I was quite comfortable. She was professional and compassionate and took time afterward to answer my questions and provided education.
I have been to another dental practice which had more "bells and whistles" like hand massages, etc, but this practice is excellent and not prohibitively expensive. I can do without a hand massage!

I highly recommend family dental office. The staff and dentists are professional and provide high quality dental work. I had two root canals done by a specialist then and I had to have a follow up visit with my dentist to have the permanent filling and the crown done. Two weeks ago while eating a burger on lunch break at a pub it was really good till somehow I crack my wisdom tooth. Jocelyn, one of the staff members here who’s also an amazing friend of mine was extremely helpful and sweet recommending me to come here to get an X-ray and consultation on getting that problem solved. My first time there the staff members were kind and helpful and I got in and out In a good amount of time, the wait there was not long at all whatsoever. Jocelyn was really gentle with my X-rays and the whole process went smooth and quick. Appointments were set real easy and within the next week my wisdom tooth removal turned out better than I was nervous about. I didn’t feel pain during or after the process, not did I swell up at all. My gums started healing the next two days and before you know it I didn’t hesitate to get back to eating whatever I wanted. Much thankful for Jocelyn and her help, she even checked up on me during my recovery and for that I will definitely keep returning here for more treatments at Family Dental Care 🤞👍

Dr. Spyro is the best! He replaces my old silver filling with a tooth colored filling, and you honestly can’t even tell there’s a filling there! I came here with a broken front tooth and was insecure about my smile. From the first call, everyone I have spoken with has been so welcoming. Dr. Spyro and his staff always immediately addressed my concerns and made pain management a priority during the entire process. I had to have a root canal on my front tooth due to the trauma and the staff ensured I was comfortable for the extent of every visit. The amazing hygienist Vicky served my deep Cleaning with the expertise and polishing as part of the routine of deep cleaning. She shared with me the importance of having healthy gums teeth, flossing to read trap foods and bacteria that can set up underneath the gums lining areas and deep. She was quick and precise what the instruments used.
Shortly there after doctor Dr. Phair came in and gave a second review on my tooth. Given me more pertinent information to having healthy teeth 🦷 And gums preventive of bacteria.
They were very patient answering all of my questions which I had quite a few. There was no rush, rush. I felt very home here. I Consider Family Dental in Calumet City, my Extended family of professionals…

I came back home to Family Dental and couldn't be happier after my last 10 years at Ivanhoe Dental and their 1920's dentistry. My dentist, Dr. Lambert is THE BEST! And my hygienist Star is awesome!

The most professional and prompt staff. China took care of a request when I called and spoke with her directly in last than 1/2 hour. She was very courteous and concerned with my request. This has been my dental office for the past 3 years. This year I needed quite a bit of work for me and my daughter. They were so accommodating! Not to mention the Covid protocols they had in place made me secure to go in on a regular basis. I definitely would recommend this office. Not only good dental work, but warm and friendly staff.

I got a dental implant here and I was very very nervous for it but let me tell you the staff at family dental care did not let me get scared. They were the most comforting and patient group of people I have ever encountered. They answered all 100 of my questions without being annoyed, they played around with me to calm my nerves, and during the procedure they played music and talked to me and then boom the procedure was over. I came here regularly and I don’t think I’ll ever switch dentists. I highly recommend this place. I love them!

Dr. Romano was an exceptional professional as I have had several teeth pulled by various dentists. This was the best experience of over ten teeth getting pulled hands down. He not only extracted the tooth within seconds with zero pain. Even his patience in being gentle in numbing the area was very notably different than any experience I have ever had. Since moving to the Midwest from the Pacific Northwest it has been a struggle finding a dental office that uses laser technology. After one trial and error with my former Dentist in Indiana I was finally referred to Dr. Lambert and the highly efficient staff at Family Dental Care in Calumet City, IL! The office is very clean and the staff and dentist are exceptionally friendly. The prices are very affordable for cash payers, such as myself. Today I had my first cleaning with Jennifer, a wonderful Dental Hygienist. She made what I used to believe was a long, drawn out painful cleaning experience into a very efficient and thorough pain free cleaning appointment. I couldn't believe she was done when she said she was done! She was gentle and very methodical in the cleaning and very informative on the whys and wherefores. I am thankful that I was forced to find new dental professionals and ultimately discovered this Family Dental Care office in the process. They have my business permanently!

I was in pain so I called Tuesday morning and got a same day appointment, was informed of the problem and was scheduled the very next day for my root canal to be performed. I was given 3 options for payment and chose the best one for me which I paid and received a 10% discount that day. Everyone in the office was great and friendly. Only downside was the doctor that performs the root canals is only there one day a week and for only a few hours, so I had to leave work early to make sure I could have it done.

Went in earlier this year for an emergency tooth extraction. I was in severe pain and my face began to swell due to the infection. Family Dental Care in Calumet City was the obvious choice because of their outstanding reviews and their reputation was most definitely accurate. The front office was extremely professional and helpful. I was seen and prescribed antibiotics the same day. When it was time for the extraction I didn’t feel any pain. Quiet the opposite, I had an immediate feeling of relief. The whole process, numbing to tooth pulled, took about 20 minutes which was convenient. I was given very helpful information for post care and the extraction was affordable even without insurance!

I was nervous about having a procedure done.
From the moment I waited in the waiting room, my dentist recognized me and said hello. The dentist, who did my root canal, kept me informed throughout the process. That somehow took the nervousness away. Her assistant was amazing too.. By the end of my procedure, the lady at the front desk asked me, “how did it go?”…I was truly wowed!
Is simple things these that made it such a great visit. You don't feel like a number, you feel more like patient who is ready to be taken care of.
There is a lot of team work at Family Dental Care and that made a difference as well.

My was having so much tooth pain. She was looking for an dentist office that had reasonable prices. She found family dental care in the yellow pages. It's been my dental home for years now, very pleased. Side note...they won't let you forget an appt...they email, text, and call 😁 so get to the dentist sooner than later, your health depends on it.

I came to Family Dental Care for tooth discomfort and saw Dr. Dubas. He walked me through an action plan to get my teeth healthier. I needed to have some ill fitting crowns replaced. He's a great dentist and my dental care here has been top notch. I've been seen by a few other dentists like Dr. G at the office and they've been great as well. You can really tell that they all take care in what they do.

Had my wisdom teeth taken out last weekend and it went great! Dr.Roman was very encouraging and made me feel safe and informed about the procedure. I love 2 hours away and they were very accommodating to my needs allowing me to get the consultation and procedure in the same day. They went above and beyond to help me with getting the procedure done as speedy as possible. We used a local anesthetic and I didn’t feel a thing. Healing processes was great and I am so thankful for the whole office for their help. Highly recommend!

Dr.Romano and his staff were awesome! He told me what was going on, and I was in need of emergency wisdom teeth extraction, so I felt better knowing that he could do it on-site. Called ahead and walked in on the same day so that was reassuring. Also open on a Saturday which was great. Highly recommend going if you need wisdom teeth pulled. He made it easy, and was patient.

I was a new patient on April 20th needing a tooth pulled and this absolutely wonderful place was not only open to new patients for emergencies but the staff was especially kind and patient and professional with me. I recently had my impacted wisdom tooth extracted which is not a fun experience and I have anxiety which makes things worse. The oral surgeon was patient and even narrated through the experience, so I understood what was happening instead of my mind thinking the worse and creating my own story which is always worse. Very, very, happy with my visit. Being one of my biggest fears, dentist, all the staff made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Never had I actually felt that I can actually come back. I've always made appointments but cancelled because of my fear/phobia. Dr. Louis has the best way of making you feel like it's going to be ok. He made me believe I can get through this. George was also one of the sweetest assistants too.

The dentist my son saw was excellent as well as the staff. We’re at another location due to him needing nitrous oxide, however I highly recommend them! The dentist had great bedside manners and seems to enjoy working with children. He works well under stress. My son always had a speedy recovery when he required different procedures and never had complications. The front desk is warm and welcoming. I had a lengthy wait, but working in a pediatric office myself I totally understand. The only thing I’d recommend is updating the patients/parents when there is a delay instead of leaving them waiting, that goes a long way. Either way this place is definitely worth a visit!!

I love Family Dental Care! I came into the office in need A LOT of work. They took care of EVERYTHING here. I was greeted by the warmest best professionals in dentistry. The service was exceptional! During my visit on Monday, October 22, 2018 the hands of time rolled back with Zoom Whiting treatment. My teeth went from dull to shiny, my smile is like the Lottery, it’s gone from just having a million dollar smile to a billion dollar one! This location is close to my home and I have been bringing my children for the past two years. They love the experience. Dr. Dimitri is a proffectionist when it comes to his work, and makes sure his work is complete, and that I was happy with the work he did. My Bridges have improved the look of my smile and I have more confidence to smile and laugh. They do very efficient work and completed the work in a timely manner. Finally, a dentist in Dr. Dimitri that has taken away my lifelong fear of going to the dentist! Dr.Awah hands down one of the most caring and honest dentist
I was afraid, paranoid I delayed an extraction 7 months ... due to how scared I was from the previous dentist it took a lot of me to go and get the extraction done I went in travel about 45 mins and honestly I lasted more in the waiting room then the extraction itself. Within 5-10 mins this nightmare was over some that took 2 hrs in the last office where I left w a cracked tooth and a bad sour experience. Day 2 and am in minimal pain. Services were affordable and the girls are all so caring. I will definitely be sticking to this dentist even if I have to travel 45 mins. I was so happy I even hugged the man. Never again will I neglect my dental health I already recommended this practice to several people that’s are afraid of dental procedures like I was keep up the great work ladies and Dr.Awah god bless you for being so caring and patient. Give that man a raise !!!!!! A bonus !!!read more

Had to have 7 extractions and a nasty cavity taken care of that i had put off for too long.
A few years ago i visited... a different place and the bedside manner put me off...
My entire family now goes here and if ANYONE is in fear of dental work I can tell you there is nothing to fear.
The office is a well oiled machine with very pleasant DDS and staff at hand. I'm 44 and was scared to death of what i had to get done.
No gas.... and no pain.
The relief is phenomenal and I can go on with my darn life without cutting my tongue on cracked teeth!!!!
Thanks yall! Truly appreciate the bedside manner the Dentists, surgeons, and staff have.
If there was more than 5 stars, I'd give it
I also traded stock options while getting a 100% pain free deep cavity filled. 2:30 appointment, and they had me done before market closed LOL!read more

The office staff was very professional and Star, the Dental Hygienist was caring and sensitive to any pain I felt . ... Kudos to Lauren the dental assistant who helped further ease my anxiousness. They were both engaged in their work and had great personalities. The first time I’ve been at the Dentist office and actually laughed which helped me lower my anxiety about my visit. Definitely a first experience at a dentist office where I felt so comfortable.read more
