I believe this is the same unprofessional group yhat deals out of 92nd in... South Chicago.
The first time that I had an appointment they had me waiting for three hours. 2 and 1/2 hours in the waiting room and the other half hour on the tormenting chair.
The worst part was when they told me that it was too late to continue and told to make another appointment.
I should had learned my lesson.
Fool me worse the second time.
They informed me that they had to take a gold tooth that had to be taken out. The problem was not in that section.
I told them if they had to take it out then to save it. I told them that tooth was part of a gold collar that was melted down.
I didn’t figured that not only that they were unprofessional but also thieves.
I asked for the gold tooth. The supposedly young dentist said that he had lost it.

I've had several teeth removed and they were very professional very patient and answered every question that I had. I also just recently got some partials and let me tell you they fit perfectly and they match perfectly. Cheryl was the BEST dental hygienist I could've had during my visit! Not only did she give me a STELLAR cleaning but... she schooled me in Dental Hygiene 101 with knowledge beyond the surface! Impeccable dentistry. Dr. Chris was extremely careful, informative, and patient during my visit. Zero pain whatsoever... and during the numbing shots he still made effort to make those painless. The process is very quick and efficient. All of the ladies that work there are really nice and are happy to answer any questions you may have. The entire office is very clean, well lit, there’s proper privacy, and total respect for each client that comes in. I was concerned that with COVID-19 being an issue right now there would be great risk getting the procedure done but all of the staff are in full PPE with DDS wearing even more than the assistants/specialists. They’re clearly dedicated to keeping everyone safe and ready to take care of anyone in need during the pandemic. My great aunt has gone here for decades, a friend of mine went recently, and now I’m positive that no matter what side of town I live in this will be my dentist here on out.read more

What an amazing place! I must say, the staff members... at the front desk are so nice and professional!
I don't want to exclude the dental and hygienic professionals along with their assistants, they've been marvelous! For a nervous person like me who doesn't like visiting the dentist, it was a calming experience!
Recently I had some concerns and issues (in which another dentist with his assistant was available to see me), took a look to see what was going on and offered assistance!
I was given an appointment to follow up with my dentist in a few days!
I went today and my dentist was so caring in making sure everything was okay! He even consulted with an expert to get his viewpoints concerning my dilemma or shall we say, a second opinion. I appreciated the explanation; suggested diagnosis and treatment!
Oh by the way, did I mentioned the great music that's being played? It's Pandora! Love it!
Well, I can go on and on but need to wrap this up!

I was always scared and afraid of seeing the dentist because I had a bad experiences at other dental places, and my son referred me here because he said that the DeNTisT that took care of his needs was just great and I was scared at first coming here, and the minute I walked in here was just what I needed to feel calm and not be scared of seeing the dentist. The first half was done by a male dental professional, and I returned the next day for the second half which was done by a wonderful young lady by the name of Maria. I tend to be a nervous dental patient. The staff was understanding and non judgemental. I have had a crown, which got yanked out when I stupidly forgot and chewed gum, and they got me right in to replace it that day. When Maria cleaned my teeth I was quite comfortable. She was professional and compassionate and took time afterward to answer my questions and provided education.
I have been to another dental practice which had more "bells and whistles" like hand massages, etc, but this practice is excellent and not prohibitively expensive. I can do without a hand massage!

Two weeks ago while eating a burger on lunch break at a pub it was really good till somehow I crack my wisdom tooth. Jocelyn, one of the staff members here who’s also an amazing friend of mine was extremely helpful and sweet recommending me to come here to get an X-ray and consultation on getting that problem solved. My first time there the staff members were kind and helpful and I got in and out In a good amount of time, the wait there was not long at all whatsoever. Jocelyn was really gentle with my X-rays and the whole process went smooth and quick. Appointments were set real easy and within the next week my wisdom tooth removal turned out better than I was nervous about. I didn’t feel pain during or after the process, not did I swell up at all. My gums started healing the next two days and before you know it I didn’t hesitate to get back to eating whatever I wanted. Dr. Spyro is the best! He replaces my old silver filling with a tooth colored filling, and you honestly can’t even tell there’s a filling there! Beautiful, quality work, and the whole experience was completely painless! I didn’t even feel the shot he gave me to numb the area. The staff is just as awesome as the doctor. Extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my smile!

I came in with many dental challenges. The team here was patient with me & was very considerate of my fear of needles!
Dr. Patel was very kind to me & looked me in the eye whether it was good or bad news. It was a pleasure to work with him in particular as he made me feel comfortable.
The team as a whole works very well together concerning scheduling, and even rescheduling as needed. They told me it would be ok & it is.

I came here with a broken front tooth and was insecure about my smile. From the first call, everyone I have spoken with has been so welcoming. Dr. Spyro and his staff always immediately addressed my concerns and made pain management a priority during the entire process. I had to have a root canal on my front tooth due to the trauma and the staff ensured I was comfortable for the extent of every visit. I really appreciate the people at that office and can't thank them enough for the excellent service they've given me over the past couple of months. Highly recommended! They are the best!!!

Family Dental is a fantastic place to handle all of your dental needs. Everyone from the doctors to the front office staff is so friendly & helpful! Dr. Patel & Dr. Romano have the best personalities & take time to answer your questions. The ladies who handle the front office always go out of their way to assist you with whatever you need & the dental assistants are extremely attentive. My experience with Family Dental at Calumet City location started with an emergency. The receptionist was able to call... my insurance company to make sure I could be seen. After making sure that was squared away I was seen and handled with care. The staff was caring, knowledgeable and understanding to my needs. Once seen I was scheduled for an extraction with Antonino Romano, D.D.S the Periodontist. He understood that this was my first time with him and was ready to answer any questions I had before beginning the extraction. He even walked me through the entire procedure and I greatly appreciate that type of treatment. Since then I have changed my dentist and will be scheduling my dental implants with Dr. Romano as well as allowing family dental to handle my cleanings.read more

I just received the WORST customer service in my life from Calumet Dental!!! I made our initial appointments on last... Wednesday or Thursday and was SPECIFIC in needing a cleaning. I gave all of our insurance info and asked to be called to confirm verification PRIOR to appts on Monday. I never received that call. I receive a call on Monday at 10:30am to confirm 2 appts at 5:30. I verified the purpose of these appts with Giovanni, who inforned me that NO CLEANINGS were scheduled for us. WHAT?!?!? Giovani went on to tell me that this visit was for exams and xrays, but NOT cleanings and that another appointment would need to be scheduled. I explained to her the info I received when making the appt and was told I was scheduled for 2 cleanings. Giovanni then repeatedly told me that she couldn't guarantee a cleaning today because she didn't know what we needed. I asked, "ok, so once you find out, we can proceed with the cleanings, correct?" I continued to be told, "I can't guarantee, but come in earlier and we'll have more time to do the cleaning." I agreed and told her to inform whoever needed to know this info, so we wouldn't have problems when we came an hour earlier. Ten minutes later, Giovanni called back to tell me we DEFINITELY would NOT receive a cleaning today because there wasn't any time available. WHAT?!?!? I asked to speak with the manager. I was placed on hold, but then told that Laura, the patient relations person would call me back. I asked why can't I speak with Tiffany, the office manager. Giovanni continued to repeat the same thing over and over again and never acknowledged my question. I then asked if I needed to come to the office to speak with Tiffany and try to resolve this matter, so that my husband and I can move forward with our appts today? Giovanni put me on hold, Tiffany picked up and recited the SAME SCRIPT that Giovanni said about Laura calling me. I asked tiffany if she was the person that scheduled my appts. She said she didn't know. She then told me that she refused to speak with me if I "cursed" at her rep. I NEVER USED PROFANITY when speaking with Giovanni and tried to explain that to her. Tiffany continued to repeat that Laura could call me if I wanted or not. I told her to CANCEL my 2 appointments because NEVER IN ALL OF MY LIFE have I received such poor service because of a scheduling error made on their part. My husband and I were 2 NEW CUSTOMERS who will now take our business elsewhere. I refuse to 1st..be misinformed and then 2nd..lied on to cover up their mistake and finally...disregarded as if we did something wrong other than make 2 appointments. I'M SO OUTDONE!!!! Now, I'll contact our union and let them know the lack of service this establishment provided. They don't deserve to be listed as a provider.read more

Initially, I really liked the dental clinic. That being the case i was driving 20 miles each way to see the dentist.... However, a few times (too many) I would drive out there having a problem i.e. filling came out, already letting them know what the problem is before going. I get there, just to be given another appointment to come another day. No effort to even put in a temporary filling for the big hole. I literally had to ask, "so do you suggest I go to Walgreens and buy some temporary filling until then?" At which time I at least got that much done. Fast forward I noticed there seem to be less attention to my needs. I guess the courtship is over. Then I took a look at my dental billing and realized how much I was being charged each time i drove those 40 miles even when they'd do nothing but give me another appointment. It made no sense and was too expensive. The love affair is over. When I drive that far i expect service not another appointment and additional bill.read more

I came back home to Family Dental and couldn't be happier after my last 10 years at Ivanhoe Dental and their 1920's dentistry. My dentist, Dr. Lambert is THE BEST! And my hygienist Star is awesome!

The most professional and prompt staff. China took care of a request when I called and spoke with her directly in last than 1/2 hour. She was very courteous and concerned with my request. This has been my dental office for the past 3 years. This year I needed quite a bit of work for me and my daughter. They were so accommodating! Not to mention the Covid protocols they had in place made me secure to go in on a regular basis. I definitely would recommend this office. Not only good dental work, but warm and friendly staff.

Dr Kondellas performed extensive work... mostly replacing old silver fillings ... and also placed in a bridge... Very professional and also well coordinated with his staff, assistants ... Excellent work and communication... No issues with fillings replaced or the bridge... Worked well with my dental insurance and even offered extra discount for upfront payment...

I got a dental implant here and I was very very nervous for it but let me tell you the staff at family dental care did not let me get scared. They were the most comforting and patient group of people I have ever encountered. They answered all 100 of my questions without being annoyed, they played around with me to calm my nerves, and during the procedure they played music and talked to me and then boom the procedure was over. I came here regularly and I don’t think I’ll ever switch dentists. I highly recommend this place. I love them!

Dr. Romano was an exceptional professional as I have had several teeth pulled by various dentists. This was the best experience of over ten teeth getting pulled hands down. He not only extracted the tooth within seconds with zero pain. Even his patience in being gentle in numbing the area was very notably different than any experience I have ever had. I highly recommend this gentleman his staff and family dental care of calumet city. Great job and great experience. Five stars

Since moving to the Midwest from the Pacific Northwest it has been a struggle finding a dental office that uses laser technology. After one trial and error with my former Dentist in Indiana I was finally referred to Dr. Lambert and the highly efficient staff at Family Dental Care in Calumet City, IL! The office is very clean and the staff and dentist are exceptionally friendly. The prices are very affordable for cash payers, such as myself. Today I had my first cleaning with Jennifer, a wonderful Dental Hygienist. She made what I used to believe was a long, drawn out painful cleaning experience into a very efficient and thorough pain free cleaning appointment. I couldn't believe she was done when she said she was done! She was gentle and very methodical in the cleaning and very informative on the whys and wherefores. I am thankful that I was forced to find new dental professionals and ultimately discovered this Family Dental Care office in the process. They have my business permanently!

I was in pain so I called Tuesday morning and got a same day appointment, was informed of the problem and was scheduled the very next day for my root canal to be performed. I was given 3 options for payment and chose the best one for me which I paid and received a 10% discount that day. Everyone in the office was great and friendly. Only downside was the doctor that performs the root canals is only there one day a week and for only a few hours, so I had to leave work early to make sure I could have it done.

Went in earlier this year for an emergency tooth extraction. I was in severe pain and my face began to swell due to the infection. Family Dental Care in Calumet City was the obvious choice because of their outstanding reviews and their reputation was most definitely accurate. The front office was extremely professional and helpful. I was seen and prescribed antibiotics the same day. When it was time for the extraction I didn’t feel any pain. Quiet the opposite, I had an immediate feeling of relief. The whole process, numbing to tooth pulled, took about 20 minutes which was convenient. I was given very helpful information for post care and the extraction was affordable even without insurance!

I was nervous about having a procedure done.
From the moment I waited in the waiting room, my dentist recognized me and said hello. The dentist, who did my root canal, kept me informed throughout the process. That somehow took the nervousness away. Her assistant was amazing too.. By the end of my procedure, the lady at the front desk asked me, “how did it go?”…I was truly wowed!
Is simple things these that made it such a great visit. You don't feel like a number, you feel more like patient who is ready to be taken care of.
There is a lot of team work at Family Dental Care and that made a difference as well.
Love and recommend this place.

My was having so much tooth pain. She was looking for an dentist office that had reasonable prices. She found family dental care in the yellow pages. Once she filled out her papet work, they called her back immediately. She did not have to wait long in the waiting room. Everyone was very pleasant. Dr Andy,, specialist, performed my root canal . I have heard horrible stories about this procedure, but I must say... Dr. Andy has done a tremendous job. The procedure was painless , although I was numb. after the procedure I was still able do my grocery shopping, talk on the phone, and go about my daily activities. I even forgot I had just gotten a root canal!!! I was able to have a meal about 2 hours after the procedure. no swelling and no pain. I WAS GOOD FOR SURE!! further more the doctors and staff members are courteous , helpful, knowledgeable, plus more. they make you feel at home. I hadn't been to the dentist in many years embarrasing to say so when I came in to their office I knew I had some work to be done. All of their staff is friendly and they don't show any judgment. I came to Family Dental Care for tooth discomfort and saw Dr. Dubas. He walked me through an action plan to get my teeth healthier. I needed to have some ill fitting crowns replaced. He's a great dentist and my dental care here has been top notch. I've been seen by a few other dentists like Dr. G at the office and they've been great as well. Had my wisdom teeth taken out last weekend and it went great! Dr.Roman was very encouraging and made me feel safe and informed about the procedure. I love 2 hours away and they were very accommodating to my needs allowing me to get the consultation and procedure in the same day. They went above and beyond to help me with getting the procedure done as speedy as possible. We used a local anesthetic and I didn’t feel a thing. Healing processes was great and I am so thankful for the whole office for their help. Highly recommend!

Dr.Romano and his staff were awesome! He told me what was going on, and I was in need of emergency wisdom teeth extraction, so I felt better knowing that he could do it on-site. Called ahead and walked in on the same day so that was reassuring. Also open on a Saturday which was great. Highly recommend going if you need wisdom teeth pulled. He made it easy, and was patient.

I was a new patient on April 20th needing a tooth pulled and this absolutely wonderful place was not only open to new patients for emergencies but the staff was especially kind and patient and professional with me. I was nervous to be sure but they allayed my fears and gave me immediate relief!! I am forever grateful to the entire staff. This place was very clean and during this COVID 19 pandemic they took every precaution for my safety! I will be changing my insurance to make them my primary dental site! Loved my experience! Dr. Romano pulled tooth 19 today. It didn't take 5 minutes! The longest time spent was the numbing! This has been my new dental home since October 2019. Dr. Dubas was the first dentist to pull a chipped tooth. I'm so happy to be getting my smile back! Thank you family dental

She made me feel comfortable by explaining to me what she would be doing and why. She also gave me helpful tips to care for and maintain my beautiful smile. My sons first time dental appointments were a success! Entering the office we were greeted by friendly smiles, the... paper work wasn’t overwhelming and the waiting area is very clean. We didn’t wait long the boys were taken to the back pretty fast. I was really nervous because this the first time both my toddlers were seeing a dentist and my anxiety levels were through the roof because i didn’t think they were going to cooperate, but the assistants, doctor and hygienist made them feel welcomed and loaded them up with toys! Seeing all these 4 and 5 star reviews has me thinking either this practice paid for these reviews or go beyond what’s n... ecessary as long as you repeatedly use their business. Only came here to see about tooth pain under a root canal. I was held hostage until they took X-rays and offered a multi tier treatment plan to do a deep cleaning, fix one of my crowns and do an extraction on that bad tooth I’d complained about. Also had to partially pay for this before I could leave. I was in pain and needed something done, so I paid. Definitely didn’t like that approach. I simply wanted to pay for services were rendered. Reluctantly I went back to have that tooth pulled, then put off returning until I found another dentist. Apart from the prices being too high, the primary dentist they tried to saddle me with (Dr. Spiro) was too cocky and inconsiderate with a new patient. His attitude put me off and no matter what you need to be comfortable and get along with someone working on your mouth. I cancelled my appointment and wanted a refund minus the patient portion my insurance didn’t pay. I cancelled on February 15th. To this day, still haven’t received my refund. Got copy of the X-rays though. Very unhappy and definitely will dispute the credit card charge.read more

I recently had my impacted wisdom tooth extracted which is not a fun experience and I have anxiety which makes things worse. The oral surgeon was patient and even narrated through the experience, so I understood what was happening instead of my mind thinking the worse and creating my own story which is always worse. I came to the office the Friday after Thanksgiving. I was told that I had an infection & needed a route canal. The speed of getting the appointment was excellent. The diagnosis by Dr. Carley was spot on. The route canal performed by Dr, Parth was painless. Treatment by staff was great. Each person explained each part of the process. My dental experience here at Family Dental in Oak Lawn was nothing short of AMAZING! Dr. Carley is very kind and an expert at what she does. I received a root canal, a permanent crown and deep cleaning from her and her team and never felt an ounce of pain. Very, very, happy with my visit. Being one of my biggest fears, dentist, all the staff made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Never had I actually felt that I can actually come back. I've always made appointments but cancelled because of my fear/phobia. Dr. Louis has the best way of making you feel like it's going to be ok. He made me believe I can get through this. George was also one of the sweetest assistants too.

My doctor Louis is so great. Everything I’ve done so far I’ve never felt so good with my mouth. Nothing is bothering me and he’s so patient. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at family dental you guys keep doing what your doing. And thank you George for everything you have done for me.

Received a pamphlet in the mail and I found it very easy to make an appointment with ease. Love the flexibility in scheduling and the staff is very friendly which is a plus. Also , the hygienist Diana and Iyad were very friendly and made my experience very smooth.I am so happy so happy to have found a new home for a dentist.

The dentist my son saw was excellent as well as the staff. We’re at another location due to him needing nitrous oxide, however I highly recommend them! The dentist had great bedside manners and seems to enjoy working with children. He works well under stress. My son always had a speedy recovery when he required different procedures and never had complications. The front desk is warm and welcoming. I had a lengthy wait, but working in a pediatric office myself I totally understand. The only thing I’d recommend is updating the patients/parents when there is a delay instead of leaving them waiting, that goes a long way. Either way this place is definitely worth a visit!!

I love Family Dental Care! I came into the office in need A LOT of work. They took care of EVERYTHING here. From the dentist, to the hygienist, to the receptionists, everyone here is very pleasant and seems genuinely focused on your care and comfort. I was greeted by the warmest best professionals in dentistry. The service was exceptional! During my visit on Monday, October 22, 2018 the hands of time rolled back with Zoom Whiting treatment. My teeth went from dull to shiny, my smile is like the Lottery, it’s gone from just having a million dollar smile to a billion dollar one! The people here are really kind and considerate. They extensively made sure that I was comfortable both in terms of the procedure as well as making my stay there as pleasant as possible. Dr. Sheehan saw my daughter yesterday. This was her 1st dental appointment( she just turned 3). She was very nice to Senah and made her 1st experience one to remember. This location is close to my home and I have been bringing my children for the past two years. They love the experience. Friendly and comfortable envirorment, upfront with pricing and quality dental work. Dr. Dimitri is a proffectionist when it comes to his work, and makes sure his work is complete, and that I was happy with the work he did. My Bridges have improved the look of my smile and I have more confidence to smile and laugh. They do very efficient work and completed the work in a timely manner. They make sure if something is not right they will get you in same day and correct it. Will be coming back to family dental and let friends and family know of my great experience here.

Best customer service ever!!! They really worked around my needs AND wants! They were very understanding and didn’t pressure me into anything I wasn’t interested in. They told me the best treatment route but allowed me to make my own decision. I came in for teeth reshaping and they did an amazing job! I’m so satisfied with my results, I can’t stop smiling!! Dr. Dimitri did an amazing job and was very understanding of my expectations! I highly recommend!

What an amazing experience! The ladies at the front are very welcoming and helpful. I came here with both of my kids and Dr Dimitri took care of both. My 4 year old was scared going in and left like a champ. Thank you Family Dental for putting a smile on everyone’s face .

Finally, a dentist in Dr. Dimitri that has taken away my lifelong fear of going to the dentist! I am 61 years old and my teeth needed to have some serious work done and I was also missing a lot of teeth from past extractions. Dr. Dimitry and his staff have been very nice and caring in taking care of me with my dental needs. They do not rush things and make sure that everything is satisfactory with the final results. They will also work with you financially when it comes to the overall cost for your care. I would highly recommend Family Dental Care in Crestwood for those who need dental work, especially for those folks who, like me, have always had a fear of dentistry. You will be well taken care of here.

I went in to their office after about a problem tooth and the dentist had the office write me out a pre treatment... diagnosis & estimate. I told them which treatment plan I wanted to go with I went in and they did x-rays and we made the appointment for my tooth removal. Since my tooth was infected and he told me it was.. days later I had to go in and ask for an antibiotic. when he started to give me my prescription he said here is a 2nd prescription. **I never got the first one and he never looked at my files because he gave me what I was allergic to. I go back and see the oral surgeon to remove my tooth and now turns out they never contacted the insurance to get a quote of how much it would cost so now besides the $455 I gave them they're going to charge me an additional $500 because they were too lazy to contact the insurance and see if it was covered. my insurance told me it would take seconds. the oral surgeon was great I have all the problems with the regular dentist. I go back for a checkup to see how my tooth is healing and 5 minutes later they asked me if I want to do my cleaning. I had things to do and I think that's not very professional to not call me earlier in the week and schedule this appointment. I would have had the appointment if I knew but I'm not going to have it just thrown on me I wonder if that would have cost me money too. also I don't think the office staff is very professional or business like because I got a phone call that I couldn't understand and I had to listen to it over 6 times to get the number to try calling it to find out it was the office. I've been through many dentists and I have never had one so unprofessional that I would never go back to. years ago when they were in the office down the street on Ridge Road they screwed my husband telling him it was covered and then build him hundreds of dollars later and now they're doing it to me so they get you in there being all nice and then once they see that they could get money out of you they'll screw you tooread more

Great Service, Friendly Attentive Team at a very neat & clean office! Waking up this morning after a great experience... at the Munster location. Two thumbs up to Dr. Gupta and his amazing Team!!! I was greeted with a big SMILE from Alysha (sp?) for my early morning appointment/procedure which I had been dreading allll night…. and then each young lady thereafter spoke & smiled as they entered the office for work. It certainly made me feel welcomed.
Dr. Gupta was awesome & performed my root canal as painless as possible! He did a wonderful job and he even has a great sense of humor! I actually left the office with a smile, a little sore without pain, worked & woke up this morning pain free to a follow up voice message from their office just to see how I was feeling after my procedure.
Thank you Dr. Gupta & Team …Two Thumbs up & a Gold Star for ALL of the young ladies that I had an opportunity to work with yesterday. All Smiles!

Dr.Awah hands down one of the most caring and honest dentist
I was afraid, paranoid I delayed an extraction 7 months ... due to how scared I was from the previous dentist it took a lot of me to go and get the extraction done I went in travel about 45 mins and honestly I lasted more in the waiting room then the extraction itself. Within 5-10 mins this nightmare was over some that took 2 hrs in the last office where I left w a cracked tooth and a bad sour experience. Day 2 and am in minimal pain. Services were affordable and the girls are all so caring. I will definitely be sticking to this dentist even if I have to travel 45 mins. I was so happy I even hugged the man. Never again will I neglect my dental health I already recommended this practice to several people that’s are afraid of dental procedures like I was keep up the great work ladies and Dr.Awah god bless you for being so caring and patient. Give that man a raise !!!!!! A bonus !!!read more

Had to have 7 extractions and a nasty cavity taken care of that i had put off for too long.
A few years ago i visited... a different place and the bedside manner put me off...
My entire family now goes here and if ANYONE is in fear of dental work I can tell you there is nothing to fear.
The office is a well oiled machine with very pleasant DDS and staff at hand. I'm 44 and was scared to death of what i had to get done.
No gas.... and no pain.
The relief is phenomenal and I can go on with my darn life without cutting my tongue on cracked teeth!!!!
Thanks yall! Truly appreciate the bedside manner the Dentists, surgeons, and staff have.
If there was more than 5 stars, I'd give it
